Senior .NET Developer

Location: Vancouver, BC
Date Posted: 09-25-2017
On behalf of our downtown Vancouver based client, Affinity Staffing is seeking talented .NET Developers to join our client's development team on contract basis. This team is a talent group of people who care deeply about quality, reliability, and security, following an Agile development process which enables multiple production deployments per day. They write clean, well-tested code that meets the needs of the business and continue to build on their mature software stack through a process of continuous improvement, refactoring or replacing assets as we go while maintaining and enhancing business value.

They have a service-oriented architecture, using a combination of REST API's and event publishing to connect services together. Newer services make use of CQRS and read models. They are also expanding their infrastructure into AWS, taking advantage of AWS platform services such as Kinesis streams, DynamoDB, and RDS. They primarily use C# and .NET for our APIs and services and their native mobile apps are written in Objective C and Java, and  using AngularJS for web front-ends. As well as a variety of supporting technologies, including NodeJS, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
