The Director, Information Technology (IT), reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), is responsible the implementation of the Company’s overall IT infrastructure strategy and roadmap, and associated services across the Company. This role collaborates with key stakeholders and vendors to deliver efficient, innovative and cost-effective technology platforms and solutions to the business.

Key Responsibilities
•    Oversee the development and execution of the Company’s IT strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the Company’s vision and business requirements, while maintaining a client centric approach.
•    Analyze complex business needs presented by internal clients, and recommend technical solutions.
•    Ensure the consistency and sustainability of IT applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards and procedures for implementing technical solutions.
 •    Recommend improvements and optimizations to business processes through IT solutions and identify technology trends that can enhance business performance.
•    Foster strong relationships and actively collaborate with stakeholders (Executive, business units, key vendors and third parties) on the direction and facilitation of IT strategic and tactical planning.
•    Lead, develop, and maintain the IT governance framework, ensuring standards and methodologies are implemented to safeguard the Company and ensure appropriate business continuity and disaster recovery plans are in place.
•    Direct development and execution of an enterprise-wide information security plan that protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company’s data and servers.
•    Develop and establish the Company’s IT policies and systems.

Qualifications and Experience

•    Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
•    IT Service Management (ITSM) Certification is preferred.
•    Minimum 10 years of progressive experience directing full spectrum IT services.
•    Experience leading the development and execution of an integrated IT roadmap in a newly established Company is considered an asset.
•    Proven ability to lead the design, development, and deployment of IT systems across multiple locations.
•    Previous experience with contract and vendor negotiations, and management of third party providers.
•    Extensive experience in policy and procedure development, implementation and change management.

•    Evaluates strategies by evaluating and considering options for action to achieve a long-range goal; develops decision criteria considering factors such as cost, benefits, risks, timing, and buy-in; selects the strategy most likely to succeed.
•    Establishes high standards of performance for self and others; assuming responsibility and accountability for successfully completing deliverables; self-imposing standards of excellence rather than having standards imposed.
•    Strong oral and written communication skills.
