Senior QA Analyst

On behalf of our client, Affinity Staffing is seeking a Senior QA Analyst to join our client's team on a 6 month contract basis.

We are engaged in a multi-year project to re-imagine our online experience consolidating multiple websites into a single flexible enhanced digital experience across the globe based on a modern Sitecore/Coveo platform.
Purpose of Position
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic tester who will participate in design, development and integration of our new online presence. Beyond experience, we are looking for contributors with a passion for delivering quality online user experiences.
Essential Functions & Job Duties
  • Develop, implement and manage test plans and scripts in both test and live environments
  • Develop test automation solutions to accelerate solution delivery
  • Test and verify code and content against specifications and test plans
  • Establish test measurements to improve overall product QA processes
  • Analyze test results and communicate with other teams to resolve software defects
  • Utilize Defect Reporting and Tracking
  • Run tests on and off site
Required Education, Experience and Skills
  • 5+ years’ experience testing and validating products within cross-functional product teams
  • 5+ years’ experience developing and executing test plans
  • Experience validating online web experiences based on Sitecore or another CMS is preferred
  • Experience validating multi-lingual web sites is preferred
  • Experience with the Coveo Search engine is preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio including Test Manager
  • Experience in one or more development language – preferably C#
  • Experience in hands on automated test creation using Selenium, Coded UI, or other testing automation platform
  • Must possess strong attention to detail while keeping the big picture in mind
  • Strong documentation and communication skills required
  • Bachelor of Science in computer science, programming or equivalent technical area
  • Ability to work with individuals, in a distributed team environment, with a wide range of backgrounds to facilitate group problem solving
  • Be a self-starter with ability to work with flexibility, efficiency, enthusiasm, and diplomacy (individually and as part of a complex team effort)
  • Must be able to set priorities, meet deadlines and manage multiple initiatives.
The initial engagement will start asap and last for 6 months with the possibility of extension.
