Project Site Coordinator - Wi-Fi

On behalf of our client, Affinity Staffing is seeking a project coordinator on a contract basis.  You will be joining an existing team to help ensure that the Managed Wi-Fi Service project is delivered on time, on budget and meeting the quality, service and transformation objectives.
 
Services Required:
 
Working closely with the Program Manager and Project Managers, and following a detailed scripted plan,  the Site Coordinator will direct the day-to-day implementation activities for a site(s).  The Site Coordinator will schedule, coordinate and track the site specific activities of the project team, contractors, vendors, and business representatives. The Site Coordinator will participate in the completion of key deliverables and ensure the quality of others.
 
Specific Qualifications or Experience Required: 
 
  • Demonstrated experience working with stakeholders and third party vendors to establish and execute plans;
  • Experience facilitating and coordinating processes & activities with a wide range of stakeholder groups.
  • A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a degree in Project Management, Health Administration, Business Administration, Information Management or a related discipline;
  • A minimum of ten (5) years of recent, related experience in project, program and/or portfolio management.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation (or equivalent) considered a strong asset.
  • Past project management experience with Clinical Information Systems is an important asset, as is work experience within British Columbia’s health care system.
  • Excellent proficiency with MS Office toolsets (Word, Excel, Visio, Project).
  • Knowledge of PM tools, such as Microsoft Project
  • Great project management, excellent people skills, strong written and oral communication skills, excellent analytical skills, and a demonstrated capability for handling sensitive situations.
  • Priority will be given to those individuals who have  worked  in a Health Care Environment  and/ or have experience working with cabling vendors on physical installations in multi complex environments
