Senior Project Manager - Service Desk

On behalf of our client, Affinity Staffing is looking to hire a Senior Project Manager who will be a key resource in the development and implementation of the service desk.  This role will lead the activities to establish the workflows and configuration required to stand up the service desk incident management software.  The tasks will be centered around working with the various support tiers to develop integrated work flows, as well as working with the vendor on determining the configuration and implementation of the incident management software.
Specific Qualifications or Experience Required: 
  • 15+ years of experience in a combination of project management, strategic planning, and management consulting
  • Experience with operational business units
  • Experience in healthcare IT
  • Understanding of incident and problem management processes
  • Sufficient technical knowledge to be conversant with technical teams and architects
  • Knowledge of health care and clinical applications would be beneficial
  • Senior level communication skills
  • Experience with incident management workflows
  • Experience with ServiceNow would be an asset
  • Experience with the deployment of a ServiceNow solution would be a major asset
  • Experience with service desk/request systems and processes
  • Experience with service desk workflows
  • Knowledge of service desk domains and fulfillment
  • Having service desk work experience would be an asset
** The consultant will be required to work onsite at various locations in the Greater Vancouver Area as needed to fulfil their duties.**
